75+ Health Assessments

An annual Health Assessment is available to all patients over the age of 75 and is an in-depth look at all aspects of your health. This assessment provides a great opportunity to review your overall health and general wellbeing and discuss with your doctor any concerns you may have. A Health Assessment consists of a 45 minute appointment with a nurse and a 30 minute appointment with your GP. To book in, please call our friendly reception staff on 9842 2822 and ask for a Health Assessment.

Health Assessments are bulk billed  (i.e. there is no out-of-pocket cost).

Driver's Licence

In Western Australia, persons 80 years and older must undergo an annual medical examination in order to renew their driver’s licence. With the average life expectancy now approaching 85 years and people living longer with chronic illnesses which may affect fitness to drive, the difficult question often arises at what point to stop driving. The aim of this brochure is to make that discussion a little easier for you, your family and your GP. To read the brochure, please click here.

Advanced Health Directives

To make an Advance Health Directive, you must be 18 years or older and have full legal capacity. Your Advance Health Directive is about your future treatment. It will only come into effect if you are unable to make reasonable judgements or decisions at a time when you require treatment. Advanced Health Directives can be found here.
