How does it work?

Book a Telehealth Video Link appointment either online or by calling us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of prescriptions can be managed via telehealth?

Telehealth offers a convenient option for managing various prescriptions, including those for contraception, blood pressure, asthma, and allergies. However, the approval of medication requests and repeat prescriptions is at the discretion of the doctor. For certain medications, it’s essential to have one primary prescriber overseeing your prescriptions.

Medications classified as Schedule 4, such as benzodiazepines, duromine, zolpidem, zopiclone, quetiapine, and high-strength codeine, are not typically prescribed through telehealth and should be obtained from your regular GP. Additionally, Schedule 8 controlled drugs and medications classified as drugs of addiction cannot be prescribed via telehealth services.
