Pioneer Health’s qualified Lactation Consultant, Mel Scott, can provide help and advice to new mothers having difficulties breastfeeding. Mel can assist with problems such as latching difficulties, painful nursing, low milk production and baby’s lack of weight gain. With 12+ years experience as a midwife, Mel can also offer advice to mothers and fathers on all aspects of caring for a new born. The fee for a Lactation Consultation is $80 per session (no Medicare rebate).
