The Albany Drive-Through Respiratory Clinic is pleased to be part of the Australian Government’s response to COVID-19.
The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to assess, test and diagnose mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia.
Patients who exhibit any of the following symptoms should make an appointment to attend the clinic:
- Dry cough
- Sore throat
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Shortness of breath
All patients tested for COVID-19 are required to and must home isolate until test results are provided by medical staff.
This clinic is by appointment only and is free for patients. You can book an appointment online or by calling the clinic on 9892 0480.
The Albany Drive-Through Respiratory Clinic is open on weekdays from 9am – 12 noon and is located at the northern end of the Pioneer Health Carpark, accessed by driving to the end of the carpark and following the signs.

When to call triple zero (000):
Please call triple zero (000) and ask for an ambulance if the person needing an appointment has any of these symptoms:
- Rapid and/or difficulty breathing
- Pain on breathing
- Skin feels unusually cold and sweaty, patchy discoloration or excessively pale skin
- Central or crushing chest pain
- Unconsciousness or suffering a seizure (fit)
- Turning blue
- Badly bleeding
- Victim of a severe accident.
People who meet any of the following criteria are encouraged to book a telehealth appointment with their regular GP in the first instance: over 70, or over 50 and identifies as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, or has a long term health condition, or pregnant or a parent of a child under 12 months. If telehealth is not possible for you, consider booking one of the appointment times at this respiratory clinic.
